Welcome

We specialize in child play therapy, adolescent counseling, individual therapy, couples counseling, and family counseling in Clark County, Ohio. Our goal is to provide a safe, supportive environment where children and families can heal, grow, and thrive—emotionally, relationally, and spiritually.

You have already taken the most important step—you have chosen to invest your time, energy, and resources into yourself, your family, or your marriage.

Counseling is a process. It often takes time to understand and work through the challenges that bring you here, which means meaningful change rarely comes from quick fixes. With patience, support, and collaboration, growth and healing are possible. For those who desire it, faith can be thoughtfully integrated into the counseling process as a source of strength, hope, and guidance

Here is what you can expect.

The process begins with an initial assessment at your first appointment. You may be asked to complete one or more questionnaires to help us better understand your concerns, strengths, and goals.

After this information is gathered, we will spend time reviewing it together and developing a goal plan that highlights your strengths and identifies areas where growth and change may be helpful.

This is where counseling truly begins. We will collaborate to determine the best path forward and tailor the process to your unique needs.

For parents and caregivers:
When a child is involved in counseling, parents play an important role in the process. The initial appointment typically includes time to gather background information, discuss concerns, and answer questions. Ongoing parent involvement may include periodic check-ins, guidance, and collaboration to support your child’s growth both in and outside of sessions.
